It has been an exciting couple of months!

Art Therapy Accomplishments - 

I was thrilled to receive The Outstanding Creative Applied Practice Award from the American Art Therapy Association. Out of all the Art Therapists in the nation and beyond - quite a thrill! The award ceremony took place in Pittsburgh, PA this year. 

At our Ohio chapter of Art Therapy convention - BATA (Buckeye Art Therapy Association) - I was awarded the highest honor - Honorary Lifetime Member! I stepped down from the Board this year after 8 years of service so it was a bittersweet symposium. However, now I can stay involved as a lifetime member!

Also, in local art therapy news - our licenses have arrived! After years of fighting for licensure at the Ohio state level, we were successful in passing a bill last November and art therapists in our state are starting to apply and receive their licenses.

I have work in the Wasmer Gallery at Ursuline College - Healing Imagination 10 - up until December 5th.

At Stella's Art Gallery - 

3rd place for my collaboration with artists Greg Johnson and Randall Oldrieve - "Lazy Sturdy Susan" at Stella's Art gallery in downtown Willoughby  - (up through Nov. 2)

Continued work on my solo show at Gallery 22 in Columbus, Ohio   "See Me" with the opening reception on Friday January 10th from 6-8:30. If you are in the Delaware Ohio area, I would love for you to stop by!
