Once Upon a Time

Nepal 2023
Our group worked with PA Nepal - a grassroots organization that seeks to provide basic needs and human dignity to prisoners and their children, one of the most vulnerable groups in Nepal. We worked with the children to provide outlets of creative expression.
 

Port Elizabeth, South Africa  8/2022

We loved spending time with the students at Isaac Booi School and Astra School once again! We were greeted with love and joy and really enjoyed creating with these little artists. For the after school girls empowerment group "Girls Unite" we taught them a fun dance and they shared one of their dances with us.

Cusco, Peru   10/2019
Our group worked at a school for special needs children. We learned so much witnessing the compassion and care of the children along with a lot of communication and behavior tips!
They loved the art materials we brought and were eager to express themselves.

Zimbabwe, Africa 12/2014 - 1/2015
Our group worked with children in Zimbabwe, Africa. These children were orphans, their parents victims of violence or the HIV/AIDS virus. We allowed them to be recognized, tell their story and express themselves through art, song and dance.

CRYP Eagle Butte, South Dakota   7/2016  - 7/2017 -  7/2021

The Cheyenne River Youth Project provides youth and family services to the families of the Cheyenne River reservation. While there, we helped wherever needed, including preparing for the annual Red Can Project. I have gone out there twice and hope to return again!
